Lying between the stretched deserts of south Asia  and Chenab , the connection of green grasslands of Punjab to the sands of Sind ,it is in the heart of southern Punjab  ,the city of Rukn-e -Alam ,the limits of Bin Qasim , "The city of Saints" -the exotic city of " MULTAN ". It the capital of culture placed in the south of the land of five rivers with the the temperature ranging from 0 to 50 C . the city is known for the  diversity in its rich culture. The history of the city gets its exciting re-beginning from the its invasion by the first  Muslim conquer from Arab- the mighty ,MUHAMMAD BIN QASIM. Islam precipitated the idolism with the arrival of Sufi saints , SHAH RUKN-e-ALAM  and others ,thus adding Arabic , Pesian(farsi), Sindhi to its ancient language and molding the script into Arabic alphabets  abolishing the old Punjabi dawangari script ,lastly presenting Southern Punjab with a dialect of Punjabi  "MULTANI" ,later known as "SIRAIKI" .the language was given the full regional status after the emergence of Pakistan (I.R of ) on the world map in 1947 .
